Au Canada, 95 pour cent des adultes d\u00e9clarent souffrir de c\u00e9phal\u00e9es sous une forme ou une autre.<sup class='footnote' id='fnref-16573-1'><a href='#fn-16573-1' rel='footnote'>1<\/a><\/sup> Bien que les c\u00e9phal\u00e9es puissent \u00eatre invalidantes, elles provoquent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement des malaises, des douleurs ou une pression que l\u2019on peut soulager \u00e0 l\u2019aide de th\u00e9rapies manuelles, de relaxation et de repos, d\u2019hydratation ou d\u2019analg\u00e9siques pour une br\u00e8ve p\u00e9riode.<\/p>\n\n<p>Dans des cas graves, cependant, la douleur peut devenir insupportable et durer plusieurs heures, voire plusieurs jours. Toutefois, comme pour la plupart des douleurs, les causes des c\u00e9phal\u00e9es diff\u00e8rent d\u2019une personne \u00e0 l\u2019autre. Les solutions doivent donc aussi diff\u00e9rer d\u2019une personne \u00e0 l\u2019autre. Si votre \u00e9tat vous pr\u00e9occupe et que vous cherchez un soulagement, adressez-vous \u00e0 un professionnel de la sant\u00e9 qualifi\u00e9 comme votre chiropraticien. Comme pour tout autre probl\u00e8me musculosquelettique, il est possible de cerner la cause des c\u00e9phal\u00e9es au moyen d\u2019un examen approfondi qui permettra d\u2019identifier les strat\u00e9gies pour soulager la douleur. N\u2019attendez pas : parlez de vos douleurs et maux de t\u00eate \u00e0 votre chiropraticien ou autre professionnel de la sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-palette-color-6-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-palette-color-6-background-color has-background is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Voici quelques types de c\u00e9phal\u00e9es :<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>C\u00e9phal\u00e9e de tension<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Forme de c\u00e9phal\u00e9e la plus courante, la c\u00e9phal\u00e9e de tension se caract\u00e9rise par une douleur diffuse et sourde que l\u2019on compare souvent \u00e0 un bandeau qui enserre la t\u00eate. Le d\u00e9clencheur le plus courant est, comme son nom l\u2019indique, la tension. G\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, ce type de c\u00e9phal\u00e9e se r\u00e8gle par une diminution de la tension, l\u2019application de compresses froides ou chaudes et l\u2019am\u00e9lioration de la posture. Des soins conservateurs, notamment la chiropratique, aident aussi \u00e0 soulager les sympt\u00f4mes et \u00e0 pr\u00e9venir la r\u00e9currence.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Migraine<sup class='footnote' id='fnref-16573-3'><a href='#fn-16573-3' rel='footnote'>3<\/a><\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Les sympt\u00f4mes de la migraine varient d\u2019une personne \u00e0 l\u2019autre : troubles de la vision, naus\u00e9es, vomissements et sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re, souvent pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9s de sympt\u00f4mes sensitifs (aura). Dans certain cas, la personne doit s\u2019allonger dans une pi\u00e8ce sombre jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce la migraine s\u2019estompe. Les causes de la migraine demeurent m\u00e9connues, mais plusieurs d\u00e9clencheurs y sont associ\u00e9s, notamment le stress, le manque de sommeil, les changements environnementaux et certains aliments. Une migraine peut durer plusieurs heures, m\u00eame des jours.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>C\u00e9phal\u00e9e cervicog\u00e8ne<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>La c\u00e9phal\u00e9e cervicog\u00e8ne est consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme une c\u00e9phal\u00e9e secondaire, car la douleur \u00e9mane des structures du cou. Comme elle est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement associ\u00e9e \u00e0 la colonne cervicale, elle peut \u00eatre trait\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019aide de th\u00e9rapies manuelles et d\u2019exercices \u00e0 faire chez soi destin\u00e9s \u00e0 r\u00e9gler des dysfonctions et probl\u00e8mes posturaux.<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-palette-color-6-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-palette-color-6-background-color has-background is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Qu\u2019est-ce qui provoque les c\u00e9phal\u00e9es ?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Comme nous l\u2019avons dit, les causes de la migraine et autres formes de c\u00e9phal\u00e9es sont mal connues. Nous savons que la dysfonction articulaire, la raideur musculaire et la mauvaise posture peuvent entra\u00eener des douleurs, notamment des c\u00e9phal\u00e9es.
